So now that my dissertation is handed in (YAAAAAAY!!!) I have time to actually make, draw and do stuff again! I attempted some floor textures today...it was a tough mix. If there's a lot going on, it looks too busy...and if there's not enough, it looks bland.

By experimenting with different Photoshop brushes (a first for me!) and experimenting with opacity, I'm slowly reaching a compromise with detail. My next step is to attempt adding things here and there; such as grass patches, rubbish lying about etc. My game-group teammate Sonia suggested I look into "Decals" for Unity; so that's my next step! I did play about with getting a grassy patch in Photoshop, but I need to figure out the style...
