General Waste

The Legendary General Waste!

 

Ladies and gentleman; meet the legend that is General Waste! That's right, the very same who led over 700 men, women and inanimate objects to victory in the Winter War of '96 against the rogue umbrellas.

In recent years, the pressure to construct pieces with deep, underlying conceptual meaning has drastically hindered my creative processes; largely due to the nature of my BA Fine Art course. In an attempt to recapture my unfettered, hyperactive imagination that kept my mental well-being in tact for so many years I am aiming to create to a world built from a careful blend of spontaneity, bizarre ideas and gut-intuition.

'General Waste' and its story of victory and glory came from daydreaming as a result of our general waste bin. It's also a fantastic opportunity to not only practice my drawing, but to practice drawing digitally on a tablet!
