Last weekend was my first ever Game Jam!
Our team decided that we liked our game and the idea so much, that we should develop it a little bit more.
Here's some screenshots and art:

After feeding it a carrot, it reverts to its "Cute" state! |

The kid now gets hurt if touched by a "Creepy" monster! Here's a couple of ideas based from the "Jump" sprite sheet...
(Refrained from a tears one because it was too sad/adorable!)

Ouch! |

My favourite! Cute dizzy eyes that spin! |
And some more environment art...

Ever feel like you're being watched? |
|
...yup! |

What's a creepy monster-infested forest without a glowing full moon? |
|
...or a crescent moon alternative? |

I'm excited to see how we develop the project further! Even though we're no longer under Game Jam time restrictions, I'm still keeping the art relatively simple to fit the game style. Less can be more! I may tighten up some of the art assets that I created during the jam; but only if needed.
I'd like to add that I'm lucky that my team are a bunch of geniuses! It's a pleasure to collaborate with them.
I'll post progress photographs of my A0 degree piece tomorrow!
