Cursors and Title Screens!

This morning our pages for the Making and Showing publication were submitted and the show was taken down...it felt quite sad taking away the work and leaving the empty space, it's been such a great week! We all really pulled together as a team and put our hearts into some killer work.

This afternoon I've been working on some cursors for the "Junkyard Physics" game! A simple hand, a sleeved hand, a scummy sleeved hand (may need to rework this one) and a severed hand (totally inappropriate for a child's educational game, but I HAD to get it out of my system). I think my favourite one for this game would be the plain hand...

Handy cursor!

Another design up my sleeve

Couldn't resist...

This evening, I doodled up some title screens for the games homepage. The first, although colourful and fun looking, was too busy and distracting...so I made the second one to imply a junkyard, but make it easier on the eyes. (Luckily, I could use the junk mountain that I drew for my Draw-matic Converter 5000!)
